The days featured artits:

Gov't Surplus:
GOV'T SURPLUS is Worcester's premier Government Mule Tribute Band.  They do a fantastic job reproducing the sights, sounds, feel, aura, mojo, and yes even smell of a Mule show, and have fun doing so!

The Grass Gypsys: New England husband and wife musical duo, THE GRASS GYPSYS, have traveled the country performing their original music.  Since the band's inception in 2006, vocalist Colleen Rusconi Kleya, and guitarist Justin Kleya, have continued to write unique material drawing from jazz, blues, and rock, with positive lyrics of love, life, travel, and adventure.

Andrew Greene: ANDREW GREENE is a gifted singer, songwriter, guitarist, and harp player who writes and performs soulful, original southern swampy blues-style music. His solid guitarwork and harmonica-playing, combined with his unique vocal tone and thought-provoking lyrics, create a listening experience that's sure to be remembered.  Andrew recently opened for The Marshall Tucker Band at the world-class entertainment venue Showcase Live at Patriot Place in Foxborough, MA where he wowed the audience.

Kathy Lindsey & Rob Harris:  KATHY LINDSEY has been influenced by the talents of her father, an accomplished jazz musician, and with his guidance she learned to read and write music when she was only 8 years old.  In her early teens, she began her musical career playing guitar and singing in various local talent and variety shows. Having grown up in a musical family, it wasn't long before she joined an all-female rock band back in the early 1970s and was touring the Northeast Coast at the young age of 16.  Inspired by the sounds of Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, and Judy Collins, Kathy decided that solo work would give her the freedom to express her creativity while developing a style of her own.  Soothing vocals, along with her unique and intricate style of guitar-picking are reminiscent of the artists and era from which she draws inspiration.  Whether it be traditional folk music, classic rock, blues or her original songs, this professional entertainer with her warm stage presence, makes the music she plays her very own.  For this performance, Kathy Lindsey will be accompanied by dobro and slide guitarist ROB HARRIS who adds a special dimension to Kathy's music.

Bluebox: BLUEBOX (aka Bluebox Band) is a progressive fusion instrumental ensemble, with years of playing chemistry that dates back to the 1980's in various bands of all types. Most notable of the earlier projects were Power Surgeon and Midnite Gallop, to the development of the Bluebox sound. But all musical experiences play a roll in this music, since the approach is simply to play to the best of their ability, to listen to and play off each other in no particular genre, format or preconceived ideas. They deliver a fresh heart-felt performance that differs each time the song is played. There is a basic structure to each song with numerous solo & jam sections they purposely leave open to change and interpretation of feel, tempo & melodic content.
Bluebox began as a four piece assembly of musicians including Bass, Drums, Guitar, & Keyboards. After a few years of writing & recording music in this format, life changes & scheduling necessitated restructuring to a three piece. Much of the material has been rewritten and recorded to accommodate the absence of guitar, the remaining instruments filling in the melodies and rhythms accordingly.

Randy Robbins: RANDY ROBBINS is an emerging acoustic folk-rock singer/songwriter whose beautifully-crafted original songs carry the essence and heart of the 1960s.  When Randy shares his music, listeners know they're experiencing something special.  He is often referred to by fans as, "The reincarnation of John Lennon" not only for his uncanny physical resemblance to the legendary Beatle and similar vocal tone, but because of his gifted song-writing ability and uplifting live performances that have been winning the hearts of audiences throughout the Metrowest area of Boston, Rhode Island, and beyond.  In 2009, Randy received two music award nominations in Limelight Magazine's Reader's Poll: "Male Vocalist of the Year" and "Best New Indie Album by a Solo Act".

Sara Thompson Band: With a voice like Susan Tedeschi, a soul like Janis Joplin and the sultriness of Norah Jones and Alicia Keys, vocalist SARA THOMPSON is already making her mark on the local music scene.  Known for her passion, vocal and song versatility, and powerful 6-foot stage presence she performs a mix of blues, blues-rock, soul, R&B, pop/country and contemporary rock.  Whether performing as an acoustic duo with acclaimed guitarist Bill McGoldrick or rocking out with a full electric band, she never ceases to impress, inspire, and all-out entertain, a crowd of any size.

Ronda Matson:  RONDA MATSON began her musical journey studying classical piano and folk guitar at the age of 10 and continues to write and perform songs on guitar that reflect her experiences. Adding harmonica in recent years, she enjoys the challenge of playing two instruments at once.  Known for her intimate, arresting songwriting and soulful style, Ronda has developed a loyal and growing following. Described by many as a 21st-century troubadour, she presents memorable, transformative songs. She has studied voice with Shoshana Feinstein, classicial guitar with Robert Torres, violin with Luis Antonio Ibanez, and taught herself to play her grandfather's 1920's mandolin.

Taren Yelle Duo: Taren Yelle is a soulful blues singer and professional entertainer.  She has teamed up with acclaimed guitarist Scott Randall to form the TAREN YELLE DUO.  Their music is characterized by complex and beautiful jazz-inspired structures and harmonies, within the very personal context of folk and blues.

Taste of Chains: TASTE OF CHAINS is an energetic 4-piece alternative rock band that hails from Blackstone, MA.  They have collectively been together for 5-6 years and play mostly hard rock with classic rock influences but sometime deter down a folk or ambient rock path. When experiencing their music, you will hear diverse influences of Collective Soul, Alice in Chains, and The Beatles.
