Our latest addition to Sweetwilliam Farm...Araucana Chickens. We have about 60 hens. No roosters.
Fun facts about our chickens:
Free-range, so they eat bugs & grass!
Lay a blue/green color egg, a.k.a. Easter eggs
Characteristics:
- have a tail
- beard and muffs
- a pea comb
Lay eggs only during day light hours
Eat all the eggs you want;
- high in Omega 3!
- high in good cholestol and low in bad cholesterol!
